The Birth of Nutri-Explorers
Nutri-Explorers is the result of multiple passions and experiences aligning at just the right time: art, education, health, and family, all coming together to create something meaningful.
Artistic Beginnings
As a child, my biggest dream was to become an artist. It was all I thought about in school, and I even started an art degree, but life had other plans. I left to take an entry-level factory job, trading my sketchbook for stability.
A Love for Learning
What started as a job in production soon turned into a passion for continuous learning. I studied part-time, diving into engineering, manufacturing, health & safety, and business. This journey led me to a successful career in the manufacturing industry, but I never lost my creative side.
Health & Nutrition
Meeting my wife introduced me to a new passion: healthy eating. I became fascinated with the science of nutrition, constantly researching how food affects our health, energy, and well-being.
Becoming a Parent & Facing Reality
When we became parents, I naturally extended my interest in nutrition to children’s health. I was amazed at the research on kids’ nutrition, and equally shocked by how different it was from everyday reality. Why wasn’t this common knowledge? Why wasn’t it easier for parents to apply? Like so many, we faced the struggle of feeding a little one while juggling exhaustion, budgets, and picky eating.
The Eureka Moment
One night, while reading a picture book to my son, it hit me: "Maybe I can create a storybook to encourage healthy foods?" and then it hit me again: "Wait, parents read the books too! This could be a fun way to teach parents and children about nutrition at the same time!" And just like that, Nutri-Explorers was born, a family's adventure into creativity, healthy eating and business. Now, through engaging stories and lovable characters, Nutri-Explorers helps families discover the joys of healthy eating, one adventure at a time! .
